The SaunaBox SmartSteam Kit is ready to use in 3 simple steps. Assemble the frame and heat insulated tent, which takes about 10 minutes. Once assembled, pour distilled water into the SmartSteam chamber, and within 15 minutes, steam will flow into the tent. Step inside, sit down, and experience the vast benefits of heat therapy.
The SaunaBox can heat up internally to 130-140° F with near 100%
humidity which may feel subjectively hotter and can elicit greater strains
on the cardiovascular system.
Why? Water has a higher heat capacity than air. When you're in a steam
sauna, the air is saturated with water vapor which carries more heat energy
to your body than dry air would at the same temperature.
This is why the temperature is lower in steam saunas but the humidity can
make it just as intense, if not more so, than a dry sauna
The inside of the heat insulated cover is designed with anti-microbial materials to help prevent mold and bacteria build up. A quick dry & machine washable absorbent sweat mat for the floor of the sauna is included in every order. After use, we recommend leaving the door flap open to air out and wiping down the water vapor on the inside walls.
